Faith Formation
Helping our parish community grow in faith
St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish is committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages to learn, grow, and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through faith formation, our parish accompanies children, families, and adults as they continue their journey of faith and become more active in the life of the Church.
Our Faith Formation staff oversee ministries that help people encounter Christ, learn about the Catholic faith, prepare for the Sacraments, and become more deeply connected to our parish community.
Religious Education
Our Religious Education program provides faith formation for children and young people in grades 1 through 9, helping them learn about the Catholic faith and grow in their relationship with Christ. The program also prepares students for important Sacraments, including First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, while providing opportunities for families to grow in faith together.
OCIA
Our OCIA program welcomes those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, becoming Catholic, or completing their Sacraments. Through the guidance of our clergy, OCIA team, and faith sponsors, participants are accompanied throughout their journey of faith and prepared to celebrate the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass.
Together, our Faith Formation staff help St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish create opportunities for people at every stage of their faith journey to learn, pray, grow, and become more fully involved in the life of the Church.
