Sally Mucka serves as the OCIA Coordinator at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, helping lead the parish’s ministry of faith formation and evangelization.

Working with TeamOCIA, Sally coordinates the parish’s OCIA program and welcomes those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, joining the Catholic Church, or completing their Sacraments. She works alongside our clergy and OCIA team to provide a welcoming environment where participants can learn, ask questions, pray, and grow in their faith.

OCIA meetings are held every other Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii. Throughout the year, Sally and the OCIA team accompany participants as they learn about and grow in the Catholic faith. Sally’s goal is to prepare catechumens and candidates to receive their Sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass and welcome them more fully into the life of the Catholic Church.

Through her dedication and service, Sally helps ensure that those exploring or deepening their Catholic faith feel welcomed and supported. Through OCIA, she helps St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish welcome new members into the life of the Church and continue growing together as One Family in Christ.
