Supporting the musical life of our parish
Music plays an important role in the worship and prayer life of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish. Our music staff shares their musical gifts and experience to help lead our parish community in song and prayer throughout our three churches.
Our organists and music staff provide musical accompaniment for Sunday Masses, Holy Days, special liturgies, parish celebrations, and other occasions throughout the year. They help prepare and provide music that supports the celebration of the liturgy and encourages the congregation to participate through song.
While each member primarily serves at a particular church, they also assist at the other churches when needed, allowing our parish to maintain a connected and supportive music staff across all three communities.
Our music staff also supports the choirs and parish musicians, helping prepare music for worship and encouraging parishioners to share their own musical gifts in service to the Church. Their work helps create a prayerful and welcoming atmosphere while adding beauty and reverence to our celebrations.
