Jennie Llanos serves as the Director of Religious Education at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, overseeing the parish’s Religious Education program and helping children and families grow in their Catholic faith.

Jennie works with our clergy, religious education teachers, families, and parish community to provide faith formation for students in grades 1 through 9. The program includes preparation for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, while giving students opportunities to learn about their faith and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Under Jennie’s leadership, Religious Education is focused not only on classroom learning, but also on helping families make their faith an active part of their lives. The program includes Family Ministry, Family Masses, service projects, and parish-wide activities, giving children and their parents opportunities to learn, pray, serve, and grow together.

Jennie is committed to creating a welcoming environment where children feel connected to the parish and understand that their Catholic faith extends beyond the classroom. She encourages parents to take an active role in the faith formation of their children and works to build strong connections between families, the Religious Education program, and the wider parish community.

Through her leadership and dedication, Jennie helps prepare the young members of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish to live their faith, receive the Sacraments, and become active members of the Church. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve our children and families and to help them grow together as One Family in Christ.
