The life of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish extends far beyond the celebration of Holy Mass. Throughout the year, parishioners come together to learn, pray, serve, celebrate, and support one another through the many ministries and organizations that make up our parish community.
Our ministries provide opportunities for people of all ages and at different stages of their faith journey to become more involved in the life of the Church. Some ministries are centered on the Sacred Liturgy, while others focus on faith formation, prayer, outreach, service, fellowship, or the needs of our wider community.
There is no single way to become involved. God gives each person different gifts, talents, experiences, and interests, and our parish provides many opportunities to put those gifts to use. Whether you have a few hours to give, are looking for a way to serve regularly, or simply want to meet other members of our parish community, there is a place for you.
Living Our Faith Through Service
Ministry is more than simply volunteering. It is an opportunity to live out our Catholic faith through service to God and to others.
When we serve as part of a ministry, we become an active part of the mission of the Church. We help create a welcoming parish community, support those who are in need, share the Catholic faith with others, and contribute our time and talents for the good of the parish.
Every ministry has an important role to play. Some serve directly at the altar. Others help children and adults grow in their faith. Some bring comfort and assistance to people in need, while others create opportunities for prayer, fellowship, and community.
