Serving Our Community

St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish is proud to support the work of the East Haven Food Pantry and to work closely with those who serve our local community through this important ministry. Our parish community has opportunities throughout the year to help support the pantry through food donations, volunteering, food drives, and other efforts to assist our neighbors in need.

The East Haven Food Pantry has been serving the community since 1985. What began with a small group of volunteers has grown into an important resource for individuals and families in East Haven. The pantry provides food assistance to those in need and relies on the generosity of volunteers, local churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals to continue its work.

In addition to its regular food distribution, the pantry offers programs such as Kindness for Kids, which helps provide food for school-aged children in the community.
