Remembering our homebound and sick parishioners

The Cards of Care Ministry is a new ministry of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish created to help parishioners who are unable to attend Mass know that they remain an important and loved part of our parish family.

This ministry reaches out to parishioners who are homebound, sick, recovering from an operation, or otherwise unable to attend Mass. A member of the parish will send a card on behalf of the church as a simple reminder that they are remembered, missed, and held in prayer by their parish community.

How It Works

If you know a parishioner who is unable to attend Mass and would appreciate receiving a card from the parish, please contact the church office with the person’s:

  • Full name
  • Mailing address

The parish will then send them a card on behalf of our parish family.

Whether someone has been away from Mass for a short time or is unable to return because of ongoing circumstances, Cards of Care is one small way we can continue to remain connected as one parish family.

A simple card can be a meaningful reminder: you are loved, you are remembered, and you are missed.
