Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Walsh serves as Pastor of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in East Haven, Connecticut. As pastor, he provides spiritual and pastoral leadership to our parish community and works closely with parishioners, staff, and ministry leaders to strengthen the life and mission of our parish.
Fr. Walsh is committed to helping the faithful deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through the celebration of the Holy Mass, the Sacraments, prayer, faith formation, and active participation in parish life. He encourages parishioners of all ages to grow in their Catholic faith and to discover the many ways they can become involved in the life of our parish.
As Pastor of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Fr. Walsh is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and prayerful community where all are invited to encounter Christ and grow together in faith. He works alongside our clergy, staff, ministries, volunteers, and parishioners to support the many spiritual, charitable, and community activities that make up parish life.
Fr. Walsh also encourages our parish family to look to St. Pio of Pietrelcina, our patron, as an example of prayer, devotion to the Sacraments, humility, and trust in God. Through the intercession and example of St. Pio, our parish continues to seek a deeper relationship with Christ and a greater commitment to serving others.
Through his pastoral ministry, Fr. Walsh helps lead St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in living out our mission as One Family in Christ, welcoming all who come through our doors and encouraging each member of our parish family to participate in the life of the Church.
