Although we are still facing challenges with the pandemic, there is still reason to pray, hope and be faithful. Keep the light and love of God and Jesus in our hearts and minds. Look at the positive ways that we are blessed and be happy. What can we bring as gifts to the new year? How can we build a close relationship to Jesus? We received the gift of Jesus at Christmas…His love, grace, mercy, kindness, sacrifice, forgiveness, hope, joy and protection. Jesus came to give us everything..to be everything to us without judgement or conditions. How can we be Jesus for and to others? Can we look past all of the challenges we are facing, look past ourselves and have the light of Jesus shine brightly through us? Can we find a way to treat others the way Jesus expects? Are we kind? Do we judge others? Are we caring and helpful to those around us? The Holy Family…Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the example of family love and devotion. They had complete trust and faith that God would be their constant help and guide. How can we be a better member of our own family? How can we be a better member in our faith community? What can we change or add to the part we play in our family? Do we love and respect our parents? Our grandparents? What about brothers and sisters? How can we be a gift to others as Jesus was to us?

A new Year! Hope for better things to come. Another chance to hit the reset button and make a list of what we plan to accomplish. Although we are still facing challenges with the pandemic, there is still reason to pray, hope and be faithful. As parents, we have the task of carrying the stress and burdens of, not only our daily responsibilities, but those of our whole family. Work, school, schedules, pandemic, masks, social distance, bills….the list goes on and yet we find a way to manage. How do we manage? Do we navigate our days alone? At the end of an exhausting day, have we taken a moment to breath and have a second to ourselves? We don’t have to carry the stress and burden alone. Our Lord and Savior, His Blessed Mother and our God is there…arms open wide to comfort and strengthen us every second of every day. in the fast paced world we live in, we too often forget that. As parents, we need strength, hope and faith to help us daily. Below I hope you will find something that speaks to you. Take a moment for yourself and pray…listen ..and feel the love and grace of the Lord. Prayer, including a Rosary will give all of our stress up to God. Music can soothe a tired mind and body. I hope that some of the things in this section will give you a little reminder of how much we are loved.
A great way for quick inspiration is a daily reflection. Click on the link below to Dynamic Catholic and sign up to receive a daily reflection. It can be amazing to see that we often will receive exactly what we need to hear. God is Good!!

Music is a very big part of my life and has given me so much in my faith. Music has helped me find my way back. St Augustine said..” When we sing, we pray twice.” I find such hope and grace in music. I have shared a few of my favorites. They speak to my heart each and every time I listen. I hope you enjoy them as well.
