Adult Faith Formation is the lifelong process of developing a personal relationship with God as disciples of Christ. It is a life-changing commitment to the teachings of Christ and is designed to help Christians develop a joyful, spiritual life. This life resides in our community through attendance at Mass and participation in the life of our parish through devotionals, prayer groups, bible studies, and community service. Christ calls us into action to follow His way of Kindness, Compassion, and Generosity.  As followers of Christ, we are compelled to live in the world as His disciples embrace His Word with all our heart, mind, and soul and Love our Neighbor as ourselves.

Evangelization is an integral part of Faith Formation; all Christians are called to spread the Good News and bring others to Christ. Those who are unbaptized in the faith, or seeking to become Catholic from another Christian faith are welcomed through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

TEAMRCIA is the ministry dedicated to Evangelization. TeamRCIA works with those seeking to learn more about our Catholic faith and provides venues for the faithful to deepen their faith through devotionals and social events.

Classes meet every other Sunday after the 10:00 am Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii.   Contact Sally Mucka at saintpio.rcia@gmail.com for more information. These are open meetings and we invite anyone interested in joining the Catholic Church, seeking to complete their Sacraments, or would like to become a faith sponsor, to join us for robust discussion and prayer. Faith Sponsorship is open to any Confirmed Practicing Catholic wanting to learn more about their faith, help welcome newcomers into our community, and join us in Evangelization.

The apostolate of the laity shares in the salvation mission of the Church. Through Baptism and Confirmation, all are appointed to this apostolate by the Lord himself. (Lumen Gentium, 33)
