Religious Education Grades K through 10

Classes are offered for students in grades 1 through 10 on a weekly and bi monthly basis, including Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in Grade 3.

Confirmation Preparation classes begin in grade 9 and conclude in grade 10 with the reception of the Sacrament in the spring.

 

For the 2024-2025 year

All Religious Education Classes will be in person.

 Family Ministry will be more active in the fall as well. It will give families an opportunity to grow in faith together and give the students opportunities to serve the church community with various projects. Several family faith based events will also be a part of the program this year. 

All classes for grades 1 through 8  will be held in St Vincent dePaul School and in the Parish center building for grades 9 and 10. 
I am planning weekly lessons for grades 1 through 6 and  twice monthly classes for grades 7 through 10 with some classes being done at home. Also for grades 7 and 8, there will be one session only for each grade as they are now meeting as a whole group.  More information as well as those class dates will be included in the class schedules that will be sent out at the end of August.

                  6:15 – 7:15 pm
Classes will be offered for grade 7 twice a month
Tuesdays: 6:15 to 7:15 pm
Classes for grades 1 – 6 will be offered weekly
Wednesday                  5:00 – 6:00 pm
                                            
Classes for grades 9 and 10 will be offered twice a month on
Monday                             7:00 to 8:00 pm
