The Religious Education Program and Family Ministry at St Pio began the year with a welcome back family Mass and picnic on Sunday, October 2nd. A well attended, joyful Mass was celebrated at St Vincent dePaul Church at 11:15 am followed by the picnic. Although the rainy remains of Hurricane Ian didn’t allow for an outdoor event, fun, food and games were still had and enjoyed by many of our families, students and parishioners. As part of the new Youth/Family Ministry Program at St Pio, monthly family Masses will be celebrated. There are also family faith projects and events scheduled as well. Thank you to all who made the generous donations that helped make this very enjoyable day such a success and a special thank you to all that attended. We are looking forward to the next Mass on November 6th to see all of the Saint projects that are being created by our families, including some “live” Saints courtesy of our First Communion class!
