You will find the links to videos and other content for your child’s Religious Education. There are many family resources included in the curriculum this year. This page will be updated periodically with changes to move with the lessons as they go. Please keep prayer in your daily routine with your family.  It will be the focus as we begin the year and travel on this new and exciting journey together.

Each month there will be a project included in the Family Project Center. Please make the effort to participate as we will gather together monthly to share what has been done with each family.

In each section, there will be links to take you to all that you will need for lessons. For grades 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies will still be used for lessons that can be accessed on line. For grade 3 the Blessed Program will be used for both First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion Preparation. For Grade 7, the Encounter Program will be used, For Grade 8, Theology of the Body will be used. Grades 9 & 10 will continue to use the Chosen and Altaration Programs.

In addition to the scheduled lesson, I have included some selections for you to choose from with your child to make a change from the regular lessons. We will meet monthly to go over the progress being made and to discuss any of the personal selections that were made.

Parents…please take at look at the section for all of you. Take a few moments…daily..weekly to feed your soul and bring you to a closer, personal relationship with God the Father and Jesus, Our Lord and Savior.

SIGNS OF THE SEASON

Decorated Christmas Tree

REVEREND JEREMIAH N. MURASSO, PH.D., ED.D., PSY.D.

Our Pastor, Father Murasso, has written a beautiful article regarding all of the signs of the season. Please take the time to read it and share with your family! The story of the Candy Cane, St Nicholas, the origination of the Creche(Nativity), the Christmas Tree and Charlie Brown!  Click on the link below to read this wonderful reflection on all that we see during the season!

Also, as you read and share this article, I have included a link to a great, contemporary Christmas song with a familiar voice that introduces the meaning of the season! Let us remember the birth of our Savior…”Oh, What a Glorious Night!”

Jesus!!! Our Lord and Savior!! Who is Jesus? How is He a part of your life and your faith?

The month of Advent…Mary’s Immaculate Conception, the birth of Jesus, the celebration of the Holy Family.

A time to get ready for Jesus.  A season of waiting in hope, joy, peace and love. What can we do to get ready for Jesus?

Mary, Jesus’ mother…our Blessed Mother..a time to know her and how she was chosen by God to bring us Jesus.

Jesus…the baby born to save us. He was sent to us to give us new life in Him. What can we do to give thanks for that gift?

The Holy Family…Jesus, Mary and Joseph..an example to all families of faith and love. How is your family holy?

What can you do to be a strong, loving member of your family?
